SHOTS AND ANGLES

Angles

• High angle makes a thing or person smaller than it is.

 

•  Low angle makes a person look bigger than it is.

 

• A slanted angle it is a picture that shows things or persons in a unnatural point of view.

 

• An eye level angle makes the audience see things from the characters eye level.

 Shots

• Aerial shot it is a view from above a place or something.

 

• Close up shot it is used to imply intimacy between the characters or the character and the audience

• Long shot takes a picture from distance, sometimes is used to show the actors full body.

• Medium shot it is used to show the targets body as well as their face, and it normally appears in the magazines.

• Wide shot is normally used to show more visual information .

• Two shot it is usually used in the TV dramas, to show what sort of relationship have the characters between them.

• The point of view shot shows the view point of the actor, it is usually used in films.
